Our Poems

We are learning to write poems - here are some - the rest will follow!

Eagles look around looking for alert
Hawks grab their prey squeezing them tight, flying to nowhere
Keas peck holes in tents looking for some fun!

By Memphis

A peregrine falcon spots her target
She dives faster, faster, faster swooning grabbing
Her lifeless prey. She carries it off to her chicks.
In the mountain of Peru a Condor swoops down trying to impress a young female
Out at sea a giant Albatross glides gracefully across the wide sea.

By Owen

Ladybugs scuttle on leaves counting its black spots
While the cricket hops about chirping, chirping
Annoying the poor old spider who waits in his sticky web.
